LICHFIELD will look to build on a strong run of form when they return to action this weekend.

The city men saw Nivraj Virk claim seven wickets as he helped them to victory over Wednesbury last time out – their third win on the spin.

That result sees them sit sixth in the South Staffordshire County League Division One, two places above their hosts tomorrow (15th August), Aldridge, who picked up a 139-run triumph over Wombourne in their previous encounter.

Play is scheduled to get underway at midday.
