# Lichfield Mysteries costumes on display across the city

People in Lichfield have been viewing some of the Lichfield Mysteries’ costumes close-up.

The Sins’ costumes from Doomsday, the final play of the Lichfield Mysteries, were on display at various venues around the city centre.

Folks followed the trail to find and name the Seven Deadly Sins in a bid to win prizes.

First prize of passes, courtesy Virgin Active, went to Artie Jamieson of Lichfield, and £40 of vouchers given by S & J Music went to Millie Jamieson for her school, St Joseph’s Primary.

The project, organised by Christine Genders, a member of the Mysteries Council of Management, was part of Community Arts Day.

Christine said: “We would like to thank the companies who gave prizes, the venues for displaying the costumes and those who took part in the competition.

“We hope everyone enjoyed viewing these spectacular costumes, designed by John Brooking.”

Participating venues were: S & J Music, the George Hotel, Lichfield Cathedral, Spark Cafe Lichfield, Lichfield Library, Oxfam Book Shop and Lichfield Heritage Centre.
