# Lichfield nursery celebrates after being rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted

A Lichfield nursery is celebrating after achieving being rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

Bright Horizons Springfields Day Nursery and Preschool achieved the accolade for the third successive time after its most recent inspection. 

Ofsted officials observing the quality of teaching during activities both indoors and outdoors, and assessing the impact this had on children’s learning.

Their report hailed the work of members of staff across the board.

> “Leaders and managers are inspirational. They lead a highly dedicated and successful staff team and ensure sustained excellence throughout the provision.

> “There is a strong team ethos and staff say how well supported they feel, professionally and personally.

> “Staff contributions are well considered. This leads to an extremely happy environment for staff and children.  
>  
> “Children are exceptionally well prepared for the next stage in their learning and move on to school.  
>  
> “Staff expertly support children’s language development. They use stories, songs and props to ignite babies’ and young children’s early language development.”

Nursery manager Helen Marquise added:

> “Everyone associated with the nursery is absolutely delighted that we have secured our third consecutive ‘Outstanding’ rating from Ofsted.

> “It’s great to see that my team’s passion and enthusiasm has been recognised and rewarded in such a way.

> “Our focus now is to continue to offer the best possible environment in which children can flourish and naturally love learning forever.”
