A Lichfield nursery is set to expand after being given approval for a new classroom.

Humpty Dumpty Nursery, on Trent Valley Road, is also planning to expand its car parking facilities under the proposals.

Documents reveal that the new classroom could see an extra 46 children attend during the week and lead to the addition of five new members of staff.

A statement supporting the expansion said: “The proposal is to erect a mobile classroom so as to provide for the sustainable growth of the existing business.”
