Two projects in Lichfield are celebrating after sharing a £2,750 funding pot.

The money has been given out by Central England Co-operative’s Community Dividend Fund and will go to:

- St Mary’s in the Market Square, where £2,000 will pay for an induction hearing loop and sound desk.
- Copperfields Club off Boley Lane, where £750 will buy new chairs for those who live at the sheltered accommodation for the over 55s.

Boley Park Co-op store manager Kev Morris said: “We are delighted that these great projects and good causes have been handed a grant for the great work they do in the community.

“Community Dividend Fund grants like this showcase how being a member and continuing to support Central England Co-op helps us as a society continue to invest and fund vital projects in the local area.”
