# Lichfield quiz night raises more than £2,200 for charity

A quiz night in Lichfield has raised more than £2,200 for charity.

The event was organised by Inspired Accountants to help the [bibic](http://www.bibic.org.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) charity, which works with children and young people who have conditions affecting their social and learning abilities.

More than 70 people took part, helping to raise £2,215, but donations are still being received and the final amount is expected to be closer to £2,500.

Mary Matthews, from bibic, said: “We’re delighted that Inspired Accountants chose us as its Charity of the Year and we would like to thank them for raising such a great amount of money and for helping to spread the word about the important work that we do.”
