# Lichfield school praises "strong outcomes" as students receive results

A LICHFIELD school has praised the "strong outcomes" for students as they received A-Level, BTEC and Cambridge National results.

King Edward VI School said 50% of all grades were awarded at A\* to B.

Among the highlights where in applied qualifications were 45% of students achieved a Distinction\* result.

Headteacher Catharine Forster said:

> "Results are the culmination of hard work from students alongside the support of parents and teachers.

> "But these results are only part of the story – the students have been an incredible year group who have contributed to the school in many ways and been role models for our younger students.

> "We look forward to hearing about their next steps when they return for presentation evening in the autumn term."
