# Lichfield school to host careers fair for students

Students from across Lichfield are being invited to a careers fair in the city.

The Friary School will host the event on Wednesday (October 23) from 12.30pm to 5pm.

Organiser Paul van Block said: “We were very pleased with how the first careers event went in May and thought it a great idea to follow up with an event in the autumn which makes it much more helpful for those students who have just started in Years 11, 12 and 13 and thinking about their futures.”

The fair takes place in the sports hall of Friary Grange Leisure Centre and is open to all students from local secondary schools and colleges. Businesses and education organisations will be on hand to offer advice.
