Lichfield is set to become home to a Park Run event.

The popular volunteer-led, community running events take place across the country – and now the city is set to join the trend.

A test event took place today in Beacon Park today (7th December).

Cllr Doug Pullen, leader of Lichfield District Council, attended and said he was “really pleased” at the prospect of a regular Park Run taking place next year.

The first full Park Run is expected to take place in January.
