# Lichfield show is a success for radio presenter Joanne Malin

Radio and TV personality Joanne Malin proved to be a big hit with residents when she brought her show to Lichfield.

The Mornings with Joanne Malin show came to Lichfield’s Farmers’ Market yesterday (August 6).

The Market Square show kicked off a series of shows being broadcast live from across the Midlands.

Joanne told listeners:

> “Lichfield is a wonderful city. There’s so many places like Lichfield across the West Midlands on our doorstep that we never get to visit.”

Features on the show included a family being brought from Birmingham to explore what Lichfield has to offer and interviews with some of the stallholders at the Farmers’ Market.

After the show, Joanne admitted she had a great time back in Lichfield. She told The Lichfield Blog:

> “I had an absolutely fantastic time, it was lovely to be back in Lichfield and to meet up with old friends from my time in pantomime there. Everyone made us feel so welcome and it was great to have so many listeners come down for the show.”
