A budding Lichfield chemical engineer has been given the chance to discuss her future with a leading expert in nanotechnology.

Wing Ho, who attends [Abbey College Birmingham](http://www.abbeybirmingham.co.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk), was able to put questions to Yinka Oduwole, who is in her second year of pursuing a doctorate at Oxford University

The 17-year-old has applied to study chemical engineering at university and was able to find out more about life as an academic.“It was great to meet Yinka and to hear about her experiences and life as a researcher,” Wing said. “I found her very inspiring as I want to study chemical engineering at university, and this line of work could certainly be an option for me as there are so many different routes to follow.”
