The workshop at Nether Stowe High School

Students at a Lichfield school have been learning about the criminal justice system.

Workshops at Nether Stowe High School gave Year 9 pupils a sample of life behind bars and taught them the difference between nuisance and criminal behaviour.

Delivered by public services organisation The No Way Trust, *Prison? Me? No Way!* aimed to give youngsters an insight into the consequences and types of criminal behaviour.

Headteacher Ruth Poppleton said:

> “Our focus at Nether Stowe is always about learning. We are so pleased to be able to offer such a wide variety of opportunities to our students with the help of so many local services.
>
> “The quality of this experience provides a real opportunity for learners gain an insight into the world around them.”
