# Lichfield students raise more than £900 for leprosy charity

Students at a Lichfield school have raised more than £900 for a leprosy charity.

The Year 7 pupils at Nether Stowe School took part in a sponsored work out event.

Their efforts raised £936 for [Lepra](https://www.lepra.org.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).

A spokesperson said: “All students who took part and raised money should be incredibly proud of themselves.

“With the money raised, 37 children suffering from leprosy will now have their lives transformed.”
