Lichfield train passengers are being warned of delays after a vehicle struck a bridge on the cross-city line.

London Midland confirmed on [its Twitter page](https://twitter.com/LondonMidland?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) that services are subject to cancellation and delays while the incident near Blake Street is investigated.

It means disruption to services operating from Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley Stations.
