The Streethay Carol Concert

The streets of a Lichfield village came alive with song at a community carol concert.

The annual Streethay event took place around the Christmas tree on the green at Bexmore Drive/Burton Old Road.

Around 50 singers of all ages braved the cold weather to join the fun.

Festive favourites such as Away In A Manger and Good King Wenceslas were joined by humorous Christmas song Santa Got Run Over By A Reindeer, while a tray of mince pies brought smiles to the faces of the makeshift congregation.
