LICHFIELD Women were beaten 24-0 at Sale 1861.

The league leaders proved a bridge too far for the Myrtle Greens who conceded the points equally in each half.

The defeat sends Lichfield back to sixth place in the table.

The 2nds, meanwhile, beat Derby 15-12 to move joint top along with West Bridgford and Buckingham Swans 2nds. Alyssa Thor grabbed two tries and Kyra Geary scored the match decider.
