# Lichfield youngsters and their teddy bears enjoy fun in the sun

Hundreds of children and their families flocked to Beacon Park to enjoy the Fun Day and Teddy Bear Games.

Organised by Lichfield District Council, there was plenty of fun to be had, with a range of games and activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and inflatables.

There was also face painting, balloon animals, stalls, a carousel and much more on offer.

The Teddy Arena, where children competed in teddy themed races, was a big highlight of the day. Children and their favourite bears took part in races such as the Teddy Sprint, Ted on the Head, Hoop a Bear and Teddy Wanging.

The giant teddy – Ranger Ted – also made a special guest appearance.
