# Lichfield’s ghoulish past explored on guided tours in the city

Walking tours around Lichfield are lifting the lid on the spooky side of the city.

Lichfield Guildhall cells

Taking in some of the places where ghosts have been reported, the walks offer an unusual insight into the area’s past.

Among the stops on the Gruesome and Ghostly tours are the Guildhall prison cells, Market Square, Dam Street and The Close.

The walks finish with a glass of mulled wine and a sausage roll at a local pub.

The tours take place tomorrow (October 22) and then on:

- October 28
- October 29
- November 11
- November 19
- November 20
- November 26

All of the guided walks cost £6.25, start at 7pm and need to be booked in advance by calling 01543 256611.
