# Lichfield’s Shakespeare in the Park set to perform The Merry Wives of Windsor

Lichfield’s Shakespeare in the Park has chosen The Merry Wives of Windsor as this year’s production.

Director David Stonehouse has called an open meeting, when he will outline his ideas for the production and have audition pieces available.There are opportunities for both on stage and back stage work, indeed all aspects of the production.

The meeting is planned for March 13 at 10.30am at the George Hotel, Lichfield. Auditions will then be held the following Sunday at the same venue.

Shakespeare in the Park perform annually outdoors and all rehearsals are held on site at Maple Hayes, in a concentrated rehearsal schedule throughout May and June.

The play will be presented at Maple Hayes from June 22 to 25.
