# Local venues invited to host touring community glass art exhibition

LOCAL venues are being invited to display a community glass art display.

The African Caribbean Community Glass Art display is heading off on tour.

Libraries, community centres and churches are all being invited to find out more about hosting the display of artwork created as part of the Heritage Through Glass project at Tamworth Castle.

A spokesperson said:

> “This exciting project has created a vibrant exhibition showcasing African Caribbean culture featuring individual artwork and a large-scale collaborative community piece celebrating themes of identity, culture, place and belonging.

> “The creative project culminated in some beautiful group storytelling, applying fused glass techniques to create individual special artworks.

> “The display is now ready to leave the castle and go on tour at local venues so more people can enjoy the expressive artwork.”
