The owners of the M6 Toll have appointed a new chief executive.

Andy Pearson has taken up the post with Midland Expressway Limited.

Andy Pearson

He joins the company having spent the last 18 months working with private investors to develop manufacturing opportunities in the Far East.

He said he is keen to help the company grow the amount of drivers using the toll road.

“I am delighted to have joined the business at such an exciting time,” he said. “The company is on a sound financial footing and customer numbers are currently up by 12% on last year.

“My focus will be on growing our customer numbers further.

“I am also keen to continue building strong relationships with the local community and supporting local charities.”
