# M6 Toll road closed near Lichfield after armed police surround coach

The M6 Toll road near Lichfield has been closed after armed police surrounded a coach in a counter-terrorism incident.

The road was closed between junctions three and four after the driver of the vehicle pulled over on the hard shoulder.

Both directions of the carriageway are expected to remain closed until mid-afternoon.
