# Man charged after police pursuit through Lichfield

A man from Lichfield has been charged after a police pursuit.

Josh Gair, 20, was arrested after [a car failed to stop in Whittington last week](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2014/03/07/police-helicopter-helps-officers-arrest-driver-who-failed-to-stop-in-lichfield/).

He has now been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.

A 21-year-old man from Burntwood has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Gair will appear at Burton Magistrates Court today (March 12).
