# Mark Rose hat-trick as Lichfield City FC earn a point in six-goal thriller

Mark Rose netted a hat-trick as Lichfield City FC played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Bromsgrove Sporting.

The striker made it 24 goals for the season, but City will still feel some frustration at not taking all three points.

Lichfield handed a debut to defender Andres Francis who has signed from Stourbridge.

But it was the familiar face of Rose who opened the scoring on 17 minutes after a simple finish from an Adam Wood knock down.

And it was two minutes later with Rose again finding the net.

The deficit was halved on 25 minutes by William Tibbetts before Rose saw a header crash against the bar.

Bromsgrove had the better of the play as the half wore on with a goalmouth scramble and a miss from close range as the Lichfield goal came under scrutiny.

The equaliser eventually came on 54 minutes when Jozsef Jakab headed home.

And Bromsgrove completed the turnaround when Ryan Mahon slotted home.

But Lichfield will always feel they can find the net with Rose on the field and so it proved as he finished well after a long throw had caused chaos in the Sporting box.

A grandstand finish saw both sides have opportunities, but the game eventually ended 3-3.
