A very young Burntwood RUFC 3rds turn it on against a spirited Wolverhampton team.

In near perfect playing conditions at the Sportsway, the hosts again banked on their youngsters to get their victory and they certainly did not disappoint.

The fixture was superbly refereed by home man Andy Macey and his excellent management of the game allowed a fast and furious pace from the very first whistle.

An early try by Nick Peplow got the scoring underway and from that moment the scoreboard just kept ticking over all afternoon.

Further tries by Joe Cowling (2), Rob Jones (2), Josh Canning, Luke Rookyard, Brad Holmes, Anthony Morgan, Dave Ward, Sam Corbett and James Langford came at regular intervals, mostly by way of good support play throughout numbers one to 15\. In addition Nigel Smith converted 10 tries by way of his trusty left peg.

A special mention should go to Wolverhampton, who competed from start to finish and never threw in the towel as a big score was racked up against them.
