People interested in getting involved in Lichfield’s Shakespeare in the Park are being invited to an open meeting.

Taking place in June at Maple Hayes, the 2016 event will see a performance of Twelfth Night directed by Dan Branch.

A spokesperson said: “At this open meeting the director will outline his ideas for the play, discuss the roles and hand out audition pieces to all who are interested in acting parts.

“Those interested in any other activities, such as backstage, front-of-house or administration, are also invited along to meet the committee members and discuss openings.”

The meeting takes place at the George Hotel at 10.30am on Sunday (April 3).
