Extreme metal trio [Slab](http://www.ontheslab.co.uk/?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) are set to perform in Burntwood.

The Birmingham group are currently on the road promoting their second album, Megafaunal Genocide, and have already notched up 250 live performances in their career.

A spokesperson said: “We have shared stages with the likes of GBH, Viking Skull, Orange Goblin, Drongos for Europe, and Onslaught.”

The gig at the Cottage Content is on November 19 and support will come from punk outfit Scarred Society. Admission is free and the gig starts at 8pm.
