# Migration the focus of production at the Lichfield Garrick

AN exploration of "migration, memory and the cost of leaving everything behind" will be explored at a show in Lichfield.

The Garrick hosts a production of 3 Migrant Women on 22nd July.

A spokesperson said:

> "Created and performed by the artists whose stories it tells, the production weaves together movement, song and storytelling to illuminate the reality of crossing borders, both physical and emotional.

> "Through the lives of Etta, Daria, Deniz and her husband Suat, we witness the moments of departure, survival and transformation – the fragments of a life packed into a suitcase, the fear and hope of starting again and the quiet strength required to rebuild a sense of self in an unfamiliar world."
