Burntwood Town’s miserable season continued as they were dumped out of the Staffordshire Challenge Cup.

The Midland Combination’s bottom side had hoped for a much-needed morale boost when they faced Milton United Reserves.

But a 4-0 home defeat has piled even more pressure on Burntwood.

And things aren’t about to get any easier as they travel to high-flying Paget Rangers on Saturday (October 12).
