Football matches in Lichfield and Burntwood have already been beaten by the weather.

Burntwood Town FC’s crunch Midland Football Combination Division Two clash with Inkberrow failed a 9.30am pitch inspection.

And there was no better luck for Lichfield City FC who saw a waterlogged pitch end any hopes they had of facing Earlswood Town.

City’s reserves are also without a fixture after their game at Loughborough Dynamo was called off.
