Police have named a man who died in a crash near Lichfield.

Jake Whitbread, from Tamworth, was riding a blue Suzuki motorbike along the A513 at Croxall when he was involved in a crash with a HGV at around 8.45am on Thursday (June 25).

The 24-year-old received treatment but died at the scene.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw the motorbike beforehand, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police’s Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting incident number 156 of June 25.
