Michael Fabricant MP gets into character for HMS Pinafore

Lichfield’s MP will be heading for the poop deck to narrate an unconventional version of Gilbert & Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore.

Michael Fabricant has been confirmed as part of the performance at Lichfield Cathedral on March 5, 2011.

The Conservative MP explained:

> “This version of HMS Pinafore will feature the regular songs, but the narration is likely to go wildly off piste as it did when I narrated the Mikado a while back.

> The evening is great fun, fabulous entertainment, and everyone is invited – either to sing along or merely to watch and enjoy.”
