A STORYTELLING event in Lichfield will explore the mystery of woodland.

Matthew Vaughan will present Strange Things Happen in the Woods at the Kings Head on 14th January.

A spokesperson said:

> “The woodland of folklore is a mysterious and dangerous place where things are lost, things are found and the miraculous can happen.
>
> “In these extraordinary tales, a young lord loses his way and meets with a transformation, a woman draws on secret resources to escape persecution and a lonely girl thinks she has found a friend to the horror of her neighbours.
>
> “In the woods, the apparently innocent can be anything but – these tales contrast the hidden with what we think we know and warn of what can happen to the unwary.”

The event, at 7.30pm, is also being screened online. Ticket details are available [here](https://wegottickets.com/event/642527?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk).
