The victorious Lichfield Hockey Club team

The players won the Over 50s Tier 3 Championship crown after a tense battle with Bristol & West at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London.

A goal from Paul Campbell ensured Lichfield drew 1-1 to take the game into penalties.

A 2-1 win was enough to secure a first ever national title.
