A new chair has been appointed at Hammerwich Parish Council.

Cllr My Greenway will take up the post after a vote was held at a recent meeting.

It comes after [the resignation](https://lichfieldlive.co.uk/chair-of-hammerwich-parish-council-to-stand-down/) of long-standing chair Cllr Vance Wasdell.

Triangle ward representative Cllr Dave King was elected as vice chairman.
