# New civic team elected at Lichfield City Council

Terry Thomas, Bob Awty and Norma Bacon

A packed Lichfield Guildhall saw the new civic leaders of Lichfield City Council elected.

The new Mayor will be Bob Awty, with his wife Eileen becoming Mayoress, while the Deputy Mayor title went to Norma Bacon.

Completing the civic team is Terry Thomas who was elected to the ancient office of Sheriff of the City.

The Mayor’s nominated charity for the year will be the Friends of Samuel Johnson Community Hospital, while the Sheriff will raise funds for St Giles Hospice.
