A LOGISTICS estate near Lichfield has new owners after a £197million deal was agreed.

Royal London Asset Management Property has confirmed the acquisition of Fradley Park.

The facility consists of 1.65 million sq ft of warehousing and is home to the likes of DHL, Geodis, Hawkins Logistics, Palletways and Faurecia.

The new owners said they were confident the agreement would deliver “long-term returns for investors”.

Matthew Barnes, investment manager at Royal London Asset Management Property, said:

> “Fradley Park, which will be the largest industrial asset in our portfolio – it has strong fundamentals and deliverable opportunities for active asset management and development.

> “With the outlook for the Midlands logistics market remaining highly positive, this a timely and strategic addition to our portfolio.”

Royal London Asset Management Property’s £3.4billion portfolio has seen recent growth with a range of recent acquisitions.

Will Edwards, portfolio fund manager at Royal London Asset Management Property, said:

> “The purchase of Fradley Park is in line with our strategy of investing at scale into high-quality assets with an attractive occupational supply and demand dynamic that offer the potential for enhanced performance.
