# New Taekwondo classes launch in Lichfield

A new Taekwondo school has launched in Lichfield.

The Blackbelts Academy runs at King Edward VI Leisure Centre on Tuesdays at 7pm and is led by 4th Dan instructor Daniel ShenSmith.

“Martial arts instils discipline, confidence, fun and fitness into your life,” he said. “Once you are hooked, it’s a lifelong journey of development and achievement and I wouldn’t give it up for anything.”

The Academy is a member of the International Taekwondo Federation, which means qualifications earned at the school will be recognised worldwide.
