# New Zumba class comes to Burntwood

A new Zumba class is starting in Burntwood.

The high-energy, Latin-inspired dance fitness programme has proved popular across the UK and now Burntwood Leisure Centre will be offering a free trial on November 3.

The sessions blend Latin and international music with easy to follow dance and aerobic routines. The choreography includes hip-hop, samba, salsa and mambo.

Clive Whyte, health and fitness manager for Burntwood Leisure Centre, said: “Because it’s a relatively new exercise programme that many people won’t be familiar with, we’re offering our customers a free trial of our Zumba class. It’s a great way to keep fit and tone as it’s a lot of fun and will certainly keep you warm in the winter!”

After the November 3 launch, the sessions will continue to take place on Thursday evenings from 8pm to 9pm. The trial class is free with the following sessions costing £4 each for members or £5 for non-members. To book a place on the trial class, call Burntwood Leisure Centre on 01543 308810.
