# Northwich Victoria test up next for Chasetown FC

Chasetown FC will know that victory over Northwich Victoria could push them to the fringes of the race for the play-offs.

The Scholars travel to the Vics tonight (March 5), looking to build on [Saturday’s victory over Brigg Town](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2013/03/04/young-guns-on-target-to-secure-chasetown-fc-a-win-against-brigg-town/).

Craig Harris’ men currently occupy 11th place in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier, six points adrift of their opponents who are in seventh spot and leading a pack of clubs looking to close the gap on the front-runners.

Tonight’s game represents Chasetown’s game in hand on many of their mid-table rivals and could be a crossroads for their season.

But Northwich will be no pushover, having won their last four league games, including [a 1-0 win over The Scholars in February](//lichfieldlive.co.uk/2013/02/25/chasetown-fc-sunk-by-northwich-victoria-in-controversial-circumstances/).

Kick-off tonight is at 7.45pm.
