# Offload Festival sees celebration of rugby coming to Lichfield

A CELEBRATION of rugby in the community is coming to Lichfield.

Despite the delay of the rugby season to 26tg September, Cooke Fields will be helping showcase the sport with live action and entertainment as part of Lichfield Rugby Club's Offload Festival on Saturday (22nd August).

Organisers Pippa Green and Fraser Eadie said:

> "The festival aims to bring a breadth of music, entertainment, food and rugby together for our current supporters, players and members in the ongoing hope of expanding the club’s appeal in the community."

Street food will be on offer from 12.30pm, as well as Greek and Jamaican offerings. Ice cream and doughnuts are also on the menu. 

Other entertainment will include face painting and a giant inflatable.
