# Open day at Lichfield Lawn Tennis Club

It might not be Wimbledon fortnight just yet, but Lichfield Lawn Tennis Club are celebrating the game with an open day.

The event – on May 10 from 2pm to 4pm – will allow potential members of any ability to go along to the club on Birmingham Road and find out more about tennis.

Lichfield Lawn Tennis Club secretary David Hunt said:

> “The day is for all those wanting to join our club, whether you’ve not played before or looking to get back into the game.”

The club has five all-weather floodlit courts, social tennis nights and competetive games against rival clubs from the region.

There is also a set amount of free coaching available to all junior players and new adult members too.
