# Organisation managing We Love Lichfield fund celebrates certification success

An organisation running funds and trusts including We Love Lichfield is celebrating after being recognised for achieving the highest statutory and regulatory standards.

The Community Foundation for Staffordshire achieved a near perfect score to achieve [ISO 9001](https://www.iso.org/iso-9001-quality-management.html?ref=lichfieldlive.co.uk) certification.

The organisation achieved a near perfect score to secure the accolade.

Adam Berrisford, head of operations, said:

> “It’s important to receive this certification as it proves we meet the highest standards in quality, customer focus and due diligence.

> “For grant recipients it shows them we look in detail at their applications and for donors they can be assured we will direct their kind donations where they are best needed and ensure a positive outcome.

> “It’s an on-going process and will help us to continuously assess and improve aspects of the organisation, like improving efficiency and operational excellence, also ensuring we engage with staff and make sure they have the best working environment possible.”

The areas audited included the context of organisation, leadership, planning, support, operations, performance evaluation and improvement.

Steve Adams, chief executive of The Community Foundation said:

> “It’s very rewarding to be the first Community Foundation in the UK to receive this certification.
