# Organisers unveil plans for Lichfield Squash Festival

PREPARATIONS are taking place for the Lichfield Squash Festival next month.

It will take place from 10am to 4pm on 12th July at King Edward VI School.

The festival will feature a chance for new players to give the sport a go, while a number of championships will also be held on the day.

James Roberts, chairman of Lichfield Squash Club, said:

> “We are proud to be hosting the first-ever Lichfield Squash Festival – a celebration of everything squash has to offer, from fitness and fun to junior talent and competitive spirit.

> “We are inviting the whole community to come along, pick up a racket and enjoy the day..”
