# Party as Lichfield performing arts group celebrates birthday

A PERFORMING arts group in Lichfield has celebrated its fifth birthday.

Around 240 students at the LCA Academy of Performing Arts enjoyed a free party to mark the milestone.

The school runs classes for children aged between three and 17.

Eleanor Ham, director of the academy, said:

> “We wanted to celebrate our birthday and say thank you to parents for their support of LCA over the years.

> “It was a great evening. We had birthday cake and a tuck shop and it was great seeing the students living their best lives dancing away to the disco.

> “‘The atmosphere was absolutely great. We had students come along and join the fun. They were a credit to their parents and we are all so proud to have them all in our LCA family.”
