Train passengers have faced disruption due to a fallen tree.

The issue is impacting West Coast Main Line services between Rugby and Lichfield Trent Valley this morning (28th December).

A spokesperson for Avanti West Coast said:

> “Due to a tree falling on the overhead wires some lines are blocked.
