Passengers in Lichfield are being urged to check their journeys before they travel as new timetables are introduced this weekend.

From Sunday (15th May), some departure times will change on a number of routes, including on the Cross City Line and West Coast Main Line.

Jonny Wiseman, customer experience director for West Midlands Railway, said:

> “While we are not making any major changes to service frequencies, there will be new departure times on a number of routes and I urge our customers to check ahead.

> “All the new timetables are now in online journey planners meaning it is easy for passengers to check their routes and avoid being left behind.”

People travelling via Lichfield Trent Valley are also being reminded that a replacement bus service continues to operate to and from Lichfield City [due to emergency platform repairs](https://lichfieldlive.co.uk/safety-issues-will-see-platform-at-lichfield-trent-valley-remain-out-of-action-until-further-notice/).
