# Pensioner has purse stolen in Burntwood

A pensioner has had her purse stolen in Burntwood.

She was shopping at Morrisons on May 9 when it was taken.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: “The purse contained a quantity of cash and a gold wedding ring, which was in two pieces. The ring is of sentimental value and the lady is appealing for its return.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 495 of May 9
