If you go down to the woods next week you’re in for a big surprise – as members of the local Green Party will be having a picnic rather than teddy bears.

The group’s branches in Lichfield and Tamworth will be joining forces for the event at Hopwas Woods on June 28.

They will meet at the entrance on the A51 at noon.
