# People invited to join Santa Dash event in Lichfield

PEOPLE are being invited to get into the festive spirit for a Santa Dash in Lichfield.

The annual event takes place at 10.30am on Sunday (14th December) at Stowe Pool.

Organisers from The Sebbie Hall Kindness Foundation are hoping even more runners will sign up to join the fun.

A spokesperson said:

> “We are really excited about this year’s event, especially as we are delighted to welcome CBeebies presenter Gysai Sheppy who will be officially opening the race. After the Dash, he’ll be heading over to Waterstones for a special book signing of his new children’s book, But Only Girls Dance.

> “As always, every entrant will receive a Santa hat, a medal and a sweet treat, making this one of the most joyful and family-friendly events in the city’s festive calendar.

> “Importantly, all proceeds from the Santa Dash go directly towards supporting children in care and young people with disabilities, so every entry truly makes a meaningful difference.”
